Electronic waste (e-waste) harms land, water, and wildlife when tossed in the trash. MCPC, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, and Cleveland Zoological Society are teaming up to give Northeast Ohio residents a safe, eco-friendly way to recycle old devices—and to spread the word about conservation.

How Your Devices Help Gorillas
MCPC recycles electronics at its Secure Technology Asset Disposition (STAD) center in Old Brooklyn. Proceeds from this consumer event support gorilla conservation—reducing demand for new minerals that often come from endangered habitats.
The colorful “Go Green Machine” truck will be on-site with graphics that explain how responsible recycling protects gorillas in the wild.
