Ira Grossman speaks to Channel 19 on the importance of data destruction

MCPc CTO Ira Grossman  is interviewed by Cleveland 19 News on the importance of data destruction following an incident in which Marion Correctional Institute (MCI) inmates were found using donated hardware parts to build computers for criminal purposes.  Grossman tells Channel 19 News reporter Shelby Miller that “consumers, just like businesses, need to be leery of what is happening to devices at end of life and where they are donating.”   MCPc’s new Secure Technology Asset Disposition Center STAD in Cleveland is designed to prevent such occurrences when businesses retire their technology.
