Multi-Factor Destruction = High Assurance
MCPc’s data destruction program utilizes a three-factor process.
- Data Erasure: software is used to overwrite device data multiple times, rendering it unrecoverable.
- Degaussing: storage media is exposed to a powerful magnetic field scrambling all data, including start up protocols, rendering the drive completely useless.
- Physical Destruction: Depending on the form factor, storage media is shredded or pulverized for permanent destruction.
