About Us

In the Community

MCPc has always been proud to support the communities that support us. Initially, as a regional player, we worked with local Cleveland-area charities, such as the Providence House and Berea Children’s Home.

National Focus

However, as our business grew, we realized that not only did we want to do more as a way to give back, but also come up with a strategy that enables us to contribute nationally. In 2005, we chose the United Way as our focus charity.

Supporting the United Way enables all of our branch offices to participate in helping an organization close to their homes and communities. However, we have not forgotten our legacy charities and still actively engage with them as well.

In 2009, MCPc seized the chance to be the presenting sponsor of the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital Comics for Kids event. Our donation, the largest in the fundraiser’s six-year history, has the potential to help children all across our country receive better medical care. Sixteen of our associates, all of whom support our University Hospitals account in some fashion, and a guest, were invited to the event and had great time meeting everyone.

Everyone Gets Involved

At MCPc, everyone voluntarily gets involved in the fundraising of various causes. For example, every year during our annual United Way Campaign, we schedule events such as a Dunk Tank and Paid Day Off Raffle to generate excitement (and dollars). Our executive and management teams voluntarily come out in force to support these events — our President even volunteered to sit in the dunk tank. You should have seen the line to dunk him!

We also host an annual Car Wash where our managers wash their team members’ cars. Any donations received go to a local charity. Knowing how busy our managers are, it is inspirational to see them working extra hours before and after work that week to make up for the time they spend in the hot sun washing cars.

We also host an annual Holiday Party at a local children’s home, taking care of everything from gifts from “Santa” to crafts and face painting. So many associates volunteered in 2009 event that we actually had to turn some away.

Our Pledge

We pledge to continue looking for opportunities to support all the communities in which we do business. We have been fortunate enough, even in the tough economy of 2009, to be in the position to be able to support a number of fine causes.
