Welcome Message from Mark Cimino, Regional President
Thank you for your interest in MCPc, the leading technology products and solutions provider in Greater Atlanta. I am often asked, “Why MCPc?” My response is consistent: it’s all about our people, culture, continually refined business processes and ability to adapt to our clients’ ever-changing technology requirements.
We have proudly been part of the Atlanta market since 1998. Since our inception, we have continued to enhance our ability to represent advanced technology solutions — including virtualization, VoIP, printing and imaging, and data center assessment services — that help our customers make the most of their IT budgets and resources.
Located in the city of Alpharetta, we are in close proximity to many of our technology partners including Hewlett Packard, Citrix, Microsoft, EMC and VMware. Our facility is equipped to accommodate projects that require storage, staging, assembly, configuration and efficient shipping. We also offer qualified repair services for many brands of printers as well as desktop and notebook computers.
At MCPc, our greatest assets are our valued customers and business partners who have contributed to our past success. While our business is often referred to as being high-tech, our business relationships are reassuringly high-touch. We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to excellence, to clients old and new. Allow us to show you firsthand, “Why MCPc.”
We work with all kinds of companies — from small-to-medium sized businesses to global enterprises — in a variety of industries. Following are summaries of a few recent, local customer engagements outlining some of our most popular services and solution offerings.
Private Liberal Arts College in South Carolina:
Server Consolidation Solution
This client's datacenter was quickly running out of space as they continued to add servers to meet the needs of a growing student body. The IT staff wanted to maximize floor space and data capacity through server consolidation and virtualization. MCPc collaborated with the college to assess their present and future data needs, evaluate multiple vendor options and deploy the eventual solution -- IBM blade servers.

Virtualized Data Center Assessment and Storage Solution
After working with this customer on a complete datacenter assessment, we recommended a virtualized storage solution. This provided enhanced datacenter storage and more flexibility at a lower price point than many other options. In addition, the solution supports the iSCSI protocol which the customer uses to communicate between multiple offices and call center locations.

Georgia School District:
PC Refresh Project
This large school district had recently purchased $400,000 of educational workstations for its music labs countywide but did not have the capacity to store the units while the rollout schedule was developed. Furthermore, each component had to be customized per request to each school. To ease deployment of the units, MCPc stored, broke down, kitted and delivered the completed workstations to each of the district’s 115 locations across the county.

Top Research University, Headquartered in Atlanta:
Print Management Solution
We implemented a print fleet management program for the university’s student printing program — including toner, printer setup and maintenance — to maximize the fleets’ efficiency. By restructuring the print environment to balance workload and automate administrative tasks, we minimized printer support and maintenance, and cut student-printing costs. In addition, we are currently helping the university with several digital signage projects.

Desktop Virtualization
Producers in this customer’s out-of-state field office were experiencing long lag times when accessing shared applications remotely. We presented a proof-of-concept for desktop virtualization and then engaged a third-party company to implement and deploy the solution across 400 users in two offices, thus improving connectivity, efficiency and productivity for end users.
