CLEVELAND – MCPc, Inc., a Cleveland-based technology products and solutions provider, supported the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk-a-Thon sponsored by the American Cancer Society last weekend in downtown Cleveland. This was the fourth year in a row MCPc sponsored a Walk Team consisting of associates and their friends and families to support the event which has raised over $100,000 so far.
The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer provides a way for the local community to join together with their shared passion to end breast cancer (and other forms of cancer) once and for all. The event motto is that together, we make a difference, make history and make strides against breast cancer.
“MCPc is proud to be involved in this special event. Everyone seems to know someone who has been touched by cancer. Our small part in helping find a cure by sponsoring a walk team and raising funds to make a difference, is our honor,” said Beth Stec, Director of Corporate Communications and Human Resources at MCPc.
The Walk was held on Saturday morning, May 15th under blue skies. Thousands of walkers, mainly dressed in pink, enjoyed the sunny spring day as they strolled through the walk course that took them from Progressive Field to the Browns Stadium and back.
