Cleveland—MCPc, Inc., a Cleveland-based technology products and solutions provider, has been named one of the 2012 Top Workplaces in Northeast Oho by Workplace Dynamics based on employee opinions and surveys. This is the second year in a row that MCPc has been honored with this distinction.

Employees answered questions related to their company’s direction, ability to execute, career opportunities, manager competence and pay and benefits. As a result, MCPc ranked number 26 on the list of 35 midsize employers, those with 150 – 499 local employees.

The results were featured in the Plain Dealer’s best employers in Northeast Ohio. The company is also mentioned in the paper’s Skills and Investments sections, which highlight the growth in hiring despite the recession and MCPc’s utilization of telepresence technology to communicate with customers and branch offices.

The Plain Dealer reports, “technology solutions company MCPc has seen its work force grow by 35 percent in the last two years, to 415 people, more than 200 of them at work in its new downtown Cleveland headquarters in The Plain Dealer Building. But it still needs more virtual and network engineers to design cloud computing systems for business clients.”

“Competition is really stiff, mostly because those skills are new,” said Beth Stec, MCPc’s VP of corporate communications and human resources. “The talent pool is small and there’s a lot of people looking for that talent,” Stec added.

MCPc associates surveyed also indicated that they believe the company is headed in the right direction, and that they are listened to by their managers, have good benefits and feel genuinely appreciated.

In addition to being named a Top Workplace in 2012, MCPc also won the NorthCoast99 award for the past three years and was recently recognized as one of the top 100 Value Added Resellers in North America. With annual sales reaching $240 million, MCPc looks forward to future growth and continued success.
