Netbook Deployment for Major Metropolitan School District
MCPc comprehensively managed the deployment of 8,000 netbooks customized with cellular WiFi cards, virus protection software, asset tagging and recording, BIOS, MAC address and SIM card configuration, RAM upgrades, a school logo engraving and custom packaging. To ensure that the district remained eligible for a federal rebate, we completed the entire process — from order placement to delivery — in less than 60 days.

Server Virtualization for Indiana Automotive-Industry Company
Faced with a need for more servers and storage due to company growth, MCPc evaluated the client’s existing hardware and network load, and recommended virtualization of the server environment.
Using servers with memory and processor upgrades, along with a new storage area network (SAN), MCPc reduced the client’s physical server count by 80 percent. This scalable solution provides the client with the ability to add virtual servers and allocate additional storage on an as-needed basis.

Network Support for Indiana School District
After primarily supporting this school system with their desktop and laptop imaging and deployment projects, the client called on MCPc to assist with the management of their virtualized servers and rectify some Active Directory issues.
The client was understaffed and seeking support within a very limited budget. Despite constraints, MCPc not only solved immediate issues, but also made recommendations and enhancements that minimized the client’s internal effort needed to maintain the network in the future.
